Cycle paths along the river have a special charm and the lowland of the Aller and Leine is ideal to discover hidden treasures!

Cyclists will enjoy the well developed, newly sign-posted and flat cycling paths of the Aller-Leine-valley. There are three long-distance cycle paths running through the unique lowland of Aller and Leine: Aller-Radweg, Leine-Heide-Radweg and the Lüneburger-Heide-Radweg. The regional cycle network – well away from big roads - adds perfectly to the choice and leads the cyclists through dreamy villages and to interesting sights along the river. Interesting is also a cycle tour to Celle with the historical old town or a tour to the riders' town of Verden (Aller). The Serengeti-Park Hodenhagen or the bird park Walsrode can also easily reached by bicycle.

Welcome breaks during the cycle tour are possible: paddling tours are ideal to enjoy the region from a different perspective. In Eikeloh an old reaction ferry will take cyclists to the other side of the river and maybe you get lucky and are able to take part in a raft ride on the Aller!

There are interesting tours on offer for cyclists and canoeists, for example a four-day cycle tour through the Aller-Leine-valley with overnight stays in good hotels and luggage transport are always a special experience.
